Our Approach
My life
I married my high school sweetheart, Mike. Together, we have three beautiful children. Love, laughter, and creativity are the most important things in our home.
We live on a farm on the Front Range of Colorado. I'm a 4-H mom, so we have an abundance of horses, cattle, and chickens. Three dogs and a cat round out the e-i-e-i-o.
Our Story
How did I get here?
I wrote my first book, My Dog Bo, when I was in the first grade. We had an amazing program where our teacher would bind the books. I was hooked! I had to have more of my stories in actual print, so I followed up with hits such as Me and the Pink Panther and My Best Friends.
After some unsatisfying career choices, I knew I had to return to my true love-books! I went back to school for my MFA in Creative Writing-Fiction and decided to pursue the writing gig.
